Hello, I am a new /e/OS user on a Fairphone 6. After using for a few days I would like to suggest two features related to muting certain SMS conversations. Based on a forum search I don’t think these features are currently available. I had both on my previous device (iPhone) and found them both convenient for my daily workflow.
Feature request 1 - Muting specific SMS conversations in default Messages app
The ability to select a specific text messaging conversation and mute only that one. This is a helpful feature for group chats with a lot of activity. Currently when I view the settings on my specific SMS conversations there is no way to disable notifications on an individual basis, only app-wide (I am using default /e/OS app).
Feature request 2 - More precise customization of Modes function
When creating a new Mode, under “Notification filters” → “People” it would be nice to be able to select specific people instead of only “Starred contacts”. This is perhaps a bit niche, but I like to have a “Work” mode where only my spouse can contact me, and also a “Sleep” mode where only my parents could call me in the case of an emergency.
