Thank you for help. I tried secure camera with no success. I think the conclusion is a failure of the hardware of my device.

Everythig went fine.
The calendar App does not use the special calendar sound for reminding you any more, but the standard system sound.

Just an update that I reflashed a fresh e/os 2.5 and then looked in Settings, and there are two BlissLaunchers in the Notifications - Apps and Devices Notifications screens. Both are set to Allow. So it seems something in the update maybe.

I opened a ticket with Murena, as I am a paying customer, but so far no responce. Been almost 5 days now.

Advanced Privacy with per app selective geo location is fantastic. I do however see that some apps are not in the list to be selected.
For example: one bank app has no location rights but shows in the list. Another bank app does have location rights but does not show in list.

Other than that no issues for now. Thanks for the great update.

Just one issue I discovered concerning seedvault backup: I am not able to choose or enter a server. If I choose ā€œchange backup serverā€, I am getting an empty list (and there is no option to enter one). Maybe I have to mention that I donā€™t use ecloud services.

This issue is not that important to me. All other apps work seamlessly. Mainly used apps: thunderbird, firefox, keepassdx, signal, whatsapp, fluffychat (using the new UnifiedPush), freeotp+, organic maps.

Hi all. After latest upgrade my battery consumption has at least doubled. Before the update I used to cahrge my phone once a day. After latest update I have to charge it at least 2, and sometimes even 3 times a day. On every battery manager I have tried, it shows no specific app leakage. Any help would be nice.

Since the update Iā€™ve had problems with location recognition, it no longer works e.g. with the Strava and Wellhub apps.

Iā€™ve updated my Samsung S10e as well as my Xiaomi Mi 8 and am facing the same issue on both devices: fake location does not work anymore.

Quick way to check on GPSTest (with specific fake location on):

  • before the update: no satellites displayed and fake location immediately set;
  • after update: satellite lookup happening as if fake location was off. Real location eventually displayed.

After the update, I have an issue with battery usage. Before it, I used to charge every two days but now, I need to do it every day.

Calendar now uses standard system sounds only, regardless of your own sounds youā€™ve set.
I noticed that the Standardbrowser is now lagging.

Molly-UP needs MollySocket
MollySocket informs UP server e.g. NextCloud and UP server inform your UP on phone.
I run Molly-UP. Have full setup and working. Works well enough.
I run own NextCloud server, so adding MollySocket wasnā€™t big deal.

That contradicts what others have been reporting on the Forum. Not knowing how it works is the reason I hesitate to try it with Telegram and Signal (Molly)

For testing with Molly-UP I used this tutorial (and therein suggested services of adminforge)
It works ok ā€¦ but in the case of my S7 it does not with the integrated ntfy (which already fails the test with UP-example) but only with an extra install of ntfy (as I state in my post earlier in this thread). Yet still itĀ“s odd on S7 as the test notifications donĀ“t get through for molly whilst setup / in molly settings (whereas the ā€œrealā€ signal notifications doā€¦).

For now, Iā€™ve gone back to Websocket for Signal/Molly on the S7, as the (rather massive anyways) battery consumption didnā€™t improve with UP setupā€¦

I have a problem with v2.5 update on my phone.

Problem description: Phone randomly restarts a 2-3 times per day

I still love the phone & itā€™s not a big deal for me. Hope to have it stable again.
