An issue with upstream Lineage OS 21 based on Android 14 matches the problem with e/OS U (Android 14): media apps like Spotify etc. used from the work profile (using “Shelter”) in my case, will cause the launcher (Bliss or Trebuchet) to enter a lock screen / black / lock screen cycle. It can’t be stopped without restarting the phone.

A workaround is to have Spotify or other media apps installed but not logged into or ever opened on the personal profile, then the work profile installs will not cause the lock screen display crash loop. BTW this issue is being tracked here: FP4 crashes when audio is played on shelter after upgrade to 2.6.3 (#8421) · Issues · e / Backlog · GitLab
