From here /e/OS community beyond0lte download
The link is referenced in the wiki Install /e/OS on a Samsung Galaxy S10e - “beyond0lte” so for all devices just check in the wiki and go in the command line install section 
But to be aware, this manual is not up to date, Heimdall does not work any more, at least in Windows, you don’t need to erase everything with this update, if you come from 2.6.3-U.
And there is a new function in the e/os/ recovery to enable fastboot mode without rebooting into fastboot mode.
So no need any more of the buttons hassle.
Now i’m a bit confused. Ok, without heimdall.
When I go into e-recovery I’ll find under advanced “enter fastboot”. Is that the way how to go on…?
Yes that’s the choice, but before that, did you enable USB debugging on you device?
Then on your terminal or cmd screen: fastboot devices, to see if device is connected in the wright way.
Then: fastboot flash recovery recovery-e-2.7-u-20250109460550-community-beyond0lte.img.
This goes quick, in recovery select Enter recovery, Advanced Reboot to Recovery.
Then check if recovery say’s 2.7
Then, Advanced , Enable ADB, then Apply Update, Apply from ADB.
Then in terminal or cmd screen : adb -d sideload e-2.7-u-20250109460550-community-beyond0lte.zip.
This wil take some time, counter wil stop at 47% but keep waiting, there probably will come a error message just press Yes to continou.
When finished reboot to system.

Wow! That’s perfect, many thanks for helping me. The ADB steps etc. are well known by me. I’m going to update the device, but tomorrow.
And to be save, make a copy of al you’re files, pictures maps, messages, contacts.
It is all way’s possible it goes wrong, so be aware.
S10e is working. But the Update via ADB.
Sony Xperia 5 II is working.

OTA update. Quick download process, somewhat slow package installation.
Issues that appear to be solved:
- Very inaccurate network location - needs further testing
- Some apps with a Firebase login process not working
Persisting issues:
- Low picture quality with third-party apps
- Various problems with the network, especially in roaming

So which app are you using to establish a VPN connection?
I am using the system’s module which is hanging in a deep loop with every VPN config.

OTA went well (to 2.7-t), no issues or special manouvres. Reading about issues with S10e U -builds makes me feel good about being lazy

Unfortunately, fastboot does not see the device. I had to enter download mode and use Heimdall to install the recovery 2.7 on my S10e. Heimdall did work correctly.
The /e/ os system update updated a lot of partitions other than system, like vendor, product, vbmeta. So I hope that it updated the firmwares of the device
The S10e is still very slow since on U / Android 14 compared to version T / Android 13. No improvement with this version 2.7

Because of not working OTA, first updating recovery.img by heimdall (fastboot could not be installed on my PC), then updating on 2.7-u by adb sideload. See posts @WillemR. Thanks again.
