AirBnb or BoursoBank doesn’t work. Notifications from french medias doesn’t work. The gray background of the folders is not.

Hi, I’m forgetting to send this issue but since I upgraded FP5 to version 3.0 (A13 official) when I’m on default sound profile, I have notifications muted by the slider but they are still played with maxed-out volume like this slider settings is completely ignored.

No root at all.

So far all good. :+1:

Except for 2 minor topics that:
1 Mail App keeps on crashing when ‘sync’ is on.
2 Files App changes ‘sort by’ always to the top list sorting (it always resetting sorting once app is closed)

Thanks so far for the good job!

Same good experience again (without issues), big thanks to team + obacht for posting!

Fairphone 3+ OTA from 3.0.1-t → 3.0.4-t

Our second device did hang during the reboot. All seemed right until I did the reboot: the screen became dark, then came “Fairphone … powered by Android” but not the bouncing e, instead it stopped. After about seven minutes I pushed the power button and did hold it and then somehow it went down. I pulled the accu to be sure and the next boot went well.

Out first device (FP3) was fine, even rebooting.

Hi,
I did the update yesterday night on my Nothing CMF phone 1 (3.0.4-a14-20250708207308-official-tetris).
And today I have an issue: I got the 5G icon with “!” and I don’t have network.
Calls and SMS are working but that’s all. For internet access, only wifi works.
Does anyone know what I should do?
Thanks

Rooted: Yes

The navigation buttons in the bottom have disappeared. No navigation possible…
Tried to clear the BlissLauncher cache several times, but nothing…

Found 1 workaround for now, swipe from top down and go to settings, Apps, default apps and then select BlissLauncher, then I get back to the start screen…

Boursobank doesn’t connect, it say that it can’t verify the integrety of my phone. Apparently the app was working with older version but I can’t confirm

Fairphone 3+
FP3
Update from v3.0.1-t-official to v3.0.4-t-official
Not rooted

Update completed in 39 minutes with no issue.

GPS still taking 4-5 minutes to obtain first fix, but seems to be reliable after that.

Other than that, initial testing of basic functions & apps shows these appear to be working fine: wi-fi, mobile data, bluetooth, phone, message, mail, browser, App Lounge (common apps, but install not yet tested), and various other apps.

No issue with “dirty” upgrade via ADB sideload (it’s my backup phone with a very basic setup, so no big deal in case of failure), now on 3.0.4-a15-20250713508366-community-FP3.

I just noticed that the flash flashes brighter in Android 15 than in Android 13 (T), which is nice to see. I didn’t quickly find any camera settings differing between the two builds I have.

It is the same here. FP5.

Staying within the same Android version with an /e/OS update is the result to be expected, unless an OTA upgrade to a new Android version is listed as “Completed” in the weekly development updates, section OS OTA Information.
The next FP5 OTA upgrade is currently listed as “To be planned” …

Thanks, a good suggestion for now.

I’m so used to the 3 buttons…

Hopefully it gets solved with the next update.

It took me about an hour. It is best to connect the charger during updates and set the screen switch-off to the longest time. Then it feels like it runs through faster.

So, Settings - System - Gestures - System navigation - 3-button navigation (which I assume was the suggestion) doesn’t fix your issue?

You can edit the quick settings menu (the one you swipe down from above, edit button is at the bottom of it when swiped down completely) and add the “Caffeine” tile to it.
This will give you a very easy way to temporarily leave the display on for 5/10/30/infinite minutes to quicken an update, the display will return to its normal switch off setting again upon reboot.

First updated from 2.9-t to 3.0.1-t and then immediately to 3.0.4-t.
Installation went smooth without issues.

No issues observed so far, except the known GMX/web.de App issue which is caused by a known microG bug (which is probably fixed already but not yet applied to /e/OS. See web.de app no longer works (#8735) · Issues · e / Backlog · GitLab).

Thanks!
