Have you checked recent app-lounge threads? There are many reports of failure for the past weeks including a day not working for me Anonymous account not working - #9 by aibd.
It is worth reading some of these recent posts. For instance App Lounge hangs on many "common" apps.
Most of us have more than just App Lounge so there is a fallback on bad days.
You should find that you can install F-Droid from this link. Download with your phone then give necessary permissions for the system to install the .apk.
Once done you can install Aurora store from F-Droid. Maybe App Lounge even works better with Aurora store and F-Droid installed !!
