I can confirm that on the same second phone, when I just did clean install of 3.01 “herolte”, the problem persist and it’s the same. Cannot create functional second user. So it wasn’t a problem from my side. Can anybody confirm the same problem on Galaxy S7?
I switched to Neo Launcher, much better. Used to have Trebuchet, but read that there are problems with it on /e/OS (have not checked)

I just realized that WiFi Calling doesn’t work anymore on my FP4 neither (nor my spouse’s FP4). Meaning there’s no more “WiFi calling” icon appearing when making or receiving a call.
I remember I had this “WiFi calling” icon a few months/weeks ago.
But maybe it’s just the indication that has disappeared. I don’t know how can I go further to know exactly if it doesn’t work, or if it’s just a missing indication…
Do other FP4 users experiment the same behavior?
Edit: I’ve tried to put my device in airplane mode + reactivate the WiFi and just tried to make an outgoing call. I got the error message “Deactivate Airplane mode or connect to a wireless network to make a call.”
So it seems it doesn’t work anymore…
I just opened this issue: WiFi calling doesn't work since /e/OS 3.0 (#8771) · Issues · e / Backlog · GitLab
I’m a FP4 user but Wifi calling never worked for me because my carrier provider doesn’t allow it. First you can go in Settings > Network & Internet > Calls & SMS > Wifi Calling and see if it’s still enabled.
Then, to check if it’s a problem on your carrier provider side, you can “call” this number :
*#*#4636#*#*
and click on the phone information. It will open a page about network configuration. On the upper right three dots, you click on “IMS state”. This will tell you if VoWifi is available through your provider. If it is available, and Wifi calling is still not working then it’s probably valid to ask /e/OS people.
Thanks for your message.
I tried your manipulation. The results are:
- IMS recording: Recorded
- VoLTE: Available
- VoWiFi: Not available
- Video calls: Available
- UT Interface: Not available
As I know that WiFi calling worked very well a few months or even weeks ago on my FP4, I carried out another test:
I switched off my FP4, took out the Sim, and placed it in my old iPhone 8. The result was clear: in a few seconds I had the “WiFi calling” icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen (see attached photo). I put the device in airplane mode, reactivated WiFi, and called my voicemail: The call worked without a problem on the WiFi network.
This means that the problem is not with my operator nor my Sim card.

As discussed here, when I go to System->Buttons->Invert Layout to invert the layout on my navigating bar, flipping the toggle does nothing at all.
Never works for me, I think for the same reason wrote by @MaMaTT88 but I will try to dial that number this evening and post here.
Well… What device have you got?
Your tests mean that none of IMS services is activated. You can try to put your sim card in another device to test.
This can be due to a number of factors:
- The phone is not compatible with this technology
- The operator does not support these services, or they are not activated on your account
- The wireless network selected is incorrectly configured
- The sim/e-sim card is too old or incompatible
- An error in the network settings
- A problem with the software layer
My question is: does anyone have WiFi calls working on version >3.0?
WiFi Calling is working for me on my FP5 on 3.0.2-a14-20250627504416-official-FP5
Bonsoir,
Cordialement,
Thank you for your feedback, this will help. So I assume you get the “WiFi call” appearing when a call is active.
Then I suspect a more specific device issue. (FP4)
Yes! Sorry for being a tad unspecific before. I had calls which were clearly labelled – and also must have been WiFi calls since a regular place I had calls does not have sufficient cellular coverage if any at all.

3.0.2 works fine so far.

Salut @FP4EOS ,
Je me demande si vous n’auriez pas le même PB qu’ici : Android shows active internet connection, but no apps have internet access - #3 by aibd
Bonjour @MIB
J’ignore comment faire.
Auriez-vous un “pas à pas” svp ?
Cordialement
