Hi, since the update I, sometimes, don’t have sound anymore. Not in the calls, not when playing videos, no ringtones… no sound at all…
I have to restart the phone and then the sound is back. But that’s not very convienient
Vendor Name: ShifPhone
Device name: 8
Device CodeName: ?
Version of /e/OS or Stock which existed previously: //e/OS 3.3-A14 Otter
just updated from 3.2-t official redfin to 3.3-t-20251210556411-official-redfin
e_redfin-user 13 TQ3A.230901.001
All seems fine.
Not a15 release. Still a13 (t). When can we have it?
All seems OK, except the classical blur camera pbm. The camera issue blur is still here : when I take a picture with lens1 the final picture is blurry when I’m in “manual” mode. The blur effect seems to be minored but there is a small blurry effect with automatic mode !
I had deactivated the function “Google Device Registration” in Settings->System->microG, so no more messages/popup were displayed. that was my problem I had with MicroG, but the setting is enabled by default and has nothing to do with the update to 3.3 in general. So far I can say 3.3 runs fine, but I still have to test Android Auto.
was with me too, I often paused the download and started it again, so I got to 700Kb/s for a short time until it was aborted again, then just clicked on repeat and continued downloading
Fairphone 5 update download was very slow during the day, got interrupted many times, I never canceled or deleted it, just resumed. Then paused it, because I left home.
Now at night resuming was not possible, the updater app kept crashing.
I deleted the partly downloaded update, but now there is no update anymore. It vanished.
FP5 3.2-a15-official → 3.3
So far no success
2x downloads on same device - painfully slow (4h and 3h each, <800Kb/s)
In both cases after completion (download 100%) the verification failed instantly and the download was lost.
Subsequently I had to start a fresh download - 3rd attempt running…
The default browser (chromite) doesn’t sit flush to the bottom of the phone anymore since the upgrade. I have the navigation bar set to the bottom in the Accessibility options and I use the Android Gesture navigation.
