FP 3 : Updating to Android 13

Hello,

I’m trying to update my OS system on my fairphone 3 to android 13 with /e/OS Installer.

I’ve installed adb and my devices is listed

After setting all the options on my phone, i try to connect but i have this error message :

The device is not connected Failed to connect: Cannot connect ADB Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘deserial’) Proposal: Check connection and that no other program is using the phone and retry.

Can you help please?

I forgot to say that i actually use ubuntu and not windows. Sorry

There is no documented way to collect a log from eosinstaller so one is just guessing. You might check some other threads with that hastag for inspiration.

FP3 is now installed by script in the CLI manual install method and there is this tutorial [HOW-TO] Flash /e/-OS on Fairphone 3 using Debian based GNU/Linux. This might be a better bet than troublshooting the installer which seems not to work for all.
