How to initiate an update

Hi, I am new to this board and have a question important for me:
today an update popped up and showed a new version of /e/os.
The download failed because of the bad connection.
Now I am looking for manually starting the updater. I do not know how to initiate the updater, I could not find an app to start the update.
Hints are heartily welcome.

Hi @Jerry99 welcome to the forum. As it happens I wrote a post on second pass update here today!, you will just have to sift out all the bits that don’t apply to you!

Look up your device on Smartphone Selector to find your Download .img.

Please be sure the phone is 100% charged before you start.

Ask again if at all unclear!

Getting Started on /e/

Hello @Jerry99,
I guess you just want to find the app responsible for system updates.
Go to Settings → System Updates.
Or on older /e/ versions I think its Settings → System → System Updates.
Or just search for “system updates” in the settings.
