i don’t think so, but @ronnz98 could probably confirm,
latest security patch from Gogol for android 11 is from the beginnig of fabruary 2024

Thanks for sharing @mossroy !
especially for the GSI…

i am currently downloading…

i will just skip your Samsung S5 international build as we already have e-2.0-r-20240509400072-dev-klte.zip available.

Yes, Android reached end of live last year, so if you want newer security patches one would need to manually include them

Do you have latest unmodified /e/OS for “klte”?
I’ve got mine not from official website, because it’s down, so it would be nice for somebody to confirm sha256sum if mine is correct, and not tampered with:

sha256sum e-2.2-r-20240719418592-dev-klte.zip
02ea3e355024188702c7459f88597f54b9fcd0XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX e-2.2-r-20240719418592-dev-klte.zip

The “XXX” are for somebody to confirm if mine is correct, so please paste the rest of it, so I can confirm that this is the original one, or at least that we both have correct md256sum.

And the recovery:

sha256sum recovery-e-2.2-r-20240719418592-dev-klte.img
da1ba7a7dbfe8d15a7b1c800fae6722b63f733XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX recovery-e-2.2-r-20240719418592-dev-klte.img

Thank you!

You could try firstly an Unofficial build [UNOFFICIAL BUILD] Samsung Galaxy S 5 LTE (klte) and other variants for /e/OS-T using LOS-UL and / or try that sort of method to build an up to date Android version.

I’ve got this 2.2-r version installed on my Samsung S5 device, but I unfortunately do not have the ROM file any more. So I can’t check the sha256sum either

Somebody said that you have it, but you have to use TWRP for your phone to extract it, but I’m not sure. Can anyone help me extract ROM from an already installed phone with TWRP? Or better, maybe with adb on the working phone?

***Update
I’m on it, asked AI and doing System partition backup and will post my fail or success there.

***Update2
Nothing. It lead me to wrong direction and wasted my time, still cannot find boot.img and recovery.img, etc. After doing TWRP backup of System partition and extracting it on my PC.

Anybody has the solution?

I am brand new here. I have a pristine Nexus 6p that I’ve kept running a decade. Any chance you could compile an updated ROM?

Hello @StumpJunkman, Welcome to this /e/ forum.

i will not, (this is not the goal of this collection),

but searching a bit

Search results for 'angler #e-devices:unofficial-builds order:latest_topic' - /e/OS community

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you know if that legacy version you posted supports boot loader relocking?

of course not,
