Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 - the simple DBT model sold in Germany - SM-G950F, everythingâs pretty much out-of-the-box from the quick installer. I would like to say that it used to work with the stock firmware, but Iâm not certain. I tried e.g. ReadID NFC. It works fine with a NFC passport, but also does not work with the German ID card.
Hi. I installed Ring - always home and discovered two bugs:
- the snapshot capture feature is not working
- iâm not able to review past motion events (the videos wonât play)
Any thoughts on how to get this on the right personâs radar to be fixed or looked into? I know itâs probably not a high priority matter but Ring is a popular product.
FWIW, I did uninstall and reinstall the app and that did not fix the problem.

You wrote that Twint Raiffeisen works with MicroG but I cannot find it in the /e/ app store, how is it even possible? (Only the Twint PostFinance is available).
Aurora Store provides every app thatâs available in gg play store @Wichtc91. You can download this alternative app store on /e/ apps

Hello.
Banque Populaire app will be mandatory soon (twin authentication) . I tried on my old Moto E 2015, clean install, e-0.14-q (20210129-UNOFFICIAL) and it works.
SNCF Assistant works with the ticket n° but login doesnât (continue to needs a gg account

To use the SNCF Assistant you need to install the Firefox browser (not nightly) from Apps. Thatâs what I did and it works very well.

@nadavr Thatâs because the german ID Card doesnât use a standart NFC âcodeâ.
I am not aware what the background is, but I couldnât scan german IDs with my stock Android aswell.
Polish passports, german passports and other passports worked back then.
In the list PayPal is listed twice. Once working and once with crashes.
I couldnt obeserve any crashes with my Fairphone 3+.

HI, first of all thank you for giving us a way to avoid using Google. But I have some trouble with my bank app. The securipass isnât allowed because the app says that the phone seem to be rooted. And this is not the case, Iâve seen all the posts about safetynet but I didnât found a way to resolve my problem. Maybe someone can help me here. Iâm running /e/ on a LG G5.

My bank application like many others worked out of the box in the past, but now it says that SecuryPass is mandatory, and consider the device as rooted, even if /e/OS is a non-rooted system, but custom-android
To really working, the bank application need you to install Magisk application and use itâs MagiskHide feature in addition of the /e/embedded microG SafetyNet to get the SecuryPass validation.

There are some major updates coming as part of v0.17 to microG. Expect some of these issues to be fixed. v0.17 is still under testing and expected to be released for all users by end of May or first week of June.
