I started using my @murena.io email address recently and noticed that two emails didn’t arrive, one of which bounced with a message stating that part of the Murena network is on a blocklist.
I’m aware that Murena has had issues with spam by customers in the past which might explain this.
My question is if someone is working on this and if there is some timeline for when this will be fixed.
I need to be able to trust that email that I send will arrive (or at least bounce).
It just occurred to me that using a vpn when sending mail from my phone might be the problem, as I use the mail client on my phone.
In which case: apologies, I could have thought of that sooner. I forgot to exempt the mail client from ip hiding.
I sent a test message to my hotmail account, this is the reply I received:

Furthermore, my son has the same issue from his T2e and from his computer (both from webmail and an email client), regardless of what type of internet connection he is using. Yesterday, I followed the instruction in the bounce message: “Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our blocklist (S3150).” Our ISP checked everything on their end and noticed no blocks. They suggested that the problem is on the email sending server and that we should contact the email provider. Any updates on this problem?
This happened to me about a year ago, and from what I can tell it was an issue with a relay server in Germany. This got sorted last year so can’'t understand what is taking so long. I can’t email my eldest. HelpDesk were trying to resolve this issue, but clearly it is still an issue. Whilst this is ongoing I am using Proton Mail to family members who have Microsoft mail accounts (outlook.com and hotmail.com)
I’ve been having troubles sending emails to hotmail accounts for some weeks. I can send emails to accounts at gmail or other providers, but sending mails to hotmail give the following error:
Subject: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender

Is there a solution to this? As several of my contacts stick to hotmail it’s kind of showstopper for switching over to Murena / e/os.
