Can I use the e/OS/ Installer to upgrade from A15 to A16, or do I need to use the command line?
eosinstaller may or may not be connected to the relatively new a16 and it will format data. If you are fully confident of your backup bearing in mind the installed Seedvault (where not every app is backed up, take notes when first using it) the the official advice is to treat it as a new install (cleanest result), or treat it as a new install and omit Format data.
