Will it ever? at least tell me how to build it by myself
the download page says " Installation and build instructions can be found at our /e/ Documentation"
but it just doesn’t
Will it ever? at least tell me how to build it by myself
nice copy pastaㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
Only, the link to the build script is dead… So the whole tutorial is pretty useless…
Here are the 2021 links!
https://doc.e.foundation/support-topics/understand-and-use-gsi.html
https://doc.e.foundation/support-topics/install-GSI
https://source.android.com/setup/build/gsi#building-gsis
Unfortunately, there seems to be no hint as to where to find the /e- GSI sources. There are some suspicious repositories on gitlab forked from phhusson’s treble experiments, but I could not yet figure out how it all fit’s together… A build script to learn from would have been helpful.
In addition, this is where the manifest sync is done
and inside inside treble_build_los there is a script to build it
You mentioned https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations, this is a sound place to learn to experiment. Many of those who have contributed to this subject in previous years are no longer to be seen here, sadly. With serious study you might possibly find (idk) you can catch up with some of them on this fork https://github.com/LeOS-GSI/treble_experimentations
