A little about the sales and after sales service
While I sympathize that Murena as a company is a small company trying to establish something new, but the sales and returns for UK has been a painful process.
On the sales page, (I went through Kickstarter), The pricing online could be more explicit and immediate to the eye, for example beside the price, stating excluding or including VAT, shipping etc, & immediate calculation of extra costs, rather than relying on FAQ pages.
On the export side, the UK VAT was processed by UPS via the customer, rather than being processed at the point of sale by the seller.
Normally sellers arrange returns via their shipping contracts, once their process is in place it should not take much energy to arrange. With Murena currently the returns service is dependent on the customer arranging the shipment, dealing with customs forms and separately applying for VAT refund from UK customs. A process that is quite confusing and time consuming if you have not done it before.
After trying the phone, I felt the phone is not for me and am trying to return the phone, after around 3 hours of form filling and contacts with UPS and contact with Murena help desk, still not been able to do it because of uncertain questions.
Just as an example of the confusion, after all the input of details UPS said Murena will have to pay estimated Ā£99 customs duties on the return of the phone! Because now technically I am exporting to them until proven otherwise (later by the customs paper works)! So I had to cancel.

OK for my Murena2 (purchased in KickStarter /e/-shop) not rooted. It was updated from 1.18 to 1.19.1
All functions/apps seems OK except the I still have the camera pbm (described here : when I take a picture with lens1 the final picture is blurry when Iām not in āautoā mode.

Hello, Iām updating this thread in order to get an answer from the team: Iām still relunctant to use my phone as long I donāt get the protective case, so for now my phone is useless and Iām just waitingā¦ but for how long ?
There is a capture/encoding issue on Murena two system
the native recorder adb shell screenrecord /sdcard/file.mp4 does not work
a similar problem occurs with scrcpy on Murena 2
updated to eos v1.19 with no difficulty
have a problem with blisslauncher reseting my folders/icons folders and placement daily at restart, when i did a clear cache and storage of bliss it stayed for one week and again upon a restart reseted, on search i saw that im not alone with this bug, i like blisslauncher but i might switch to another for the time being,
hopefully it will be fixed one day.
v2.3.1 is out ā¦
with Latest version same result. Murena 2 has an encoding issue. Maybe if more people report it, it will be dealt with earlier:

The issue occurs with the latest version of scrcpy 2.3.1 as well. The problem is from the phone not scrcpy.
As a workaround for now, we will be sharing 3D files which will allow users to print their own protective case for the Murena 2 if they so desire. The current timeline we have for the vendor supplying the cases is in March.

Good for those who can do it, but too expensive for some of us around Ā£22. The costs for different things and time consumed builds up. Have to wait until March

For scrcpy to work with Murena 2, use the following command:
scrcpy --video-codec=h264 --video-encoder=āc2.android.avc.encoderā
The various options in settings have a icon on the right side that shows whether the option is on or off. There is a problem that all of the line including the title and the on/off button are sensitive to touch to turn on or off. When navigating upwards or downward through the option, inevitably you touch those titles and a touch during navigation can inadvertently turn on or off an option and if you are concentrating on finding an option you may not realise that another option on the way has been turned on or off.
The sensitivity for change of option should only be on the button (icons) not the title or name of option.
Can anyone say something about the microphone quality of the Murena 2? Iām thinking about getting one as a work phone but since Iāll be making phone calls and Teams calls with it the microhone should work properly.
In the few reviews I saw there was quite a lot of criticism about call quality, especially the microphone. Those were all pre production models afaik, so maybe it is better now?
Bad call quality would unfortunately be a deal breaker for me.
