I would be a bit hesitant to take my one-time success as proof that this will work for the following Fairphone models in the same manner. The “starting points” I listed in my “documentation” there might also not be the exact setup of the standard official version.
My journey with Fairphone and Murena is about to end: since last August, I’ve had a phone that doesn’t work properly (unreliable signal and/or connectivity, no dual sim working) and only lasts a few hours on battery. I waited for updates that kept getting delayed, and eventually switched to the community version—which didn’t fix anything.
Now the “early 2026” statement has (rightfully) disappeared, but I’m not sure if that’s a good sign… maybe it will just stay “under development and testing” for the next months.
i think that you’re right… i also switch my FP4 to LineageOS (so i swap from android 14 to a 16)… my problem with e/os is a low volume calls bug that has been around for several months (and few versions of e/os)…
