I can’t connect to app lounge since today. I can access the main page but when I do a search I get this error :
Edit :
phone : One Plus Nord
/e/ version : 2.4.1 (last)
I have restarted the phone once
I forced stop the app, cleared cache and data
Still not working !
Edit 2 : I can install apps from the main screen but can’t do a search of apps.
The problem comes from the search engine.

Same warning as yours. Logged out, forced app lounge to stop, cleared cache and data. It let me install 1 app and now i cannot install any app.
Edit
Now I can install apps.
Edit 2
I can’t install apps anymore…

Same issue here with Fairphone 3+ running v 2.4.1 & using anonymous account in App Lounge.
Issue persists after clearing cache & storage and rebooting. Same error message and only Open Source apps show in a search.
Edit: now confirmed that updates of already installed Common Apps are working OK; search still returning error message however.

I think what I found is that you need do what Mee Tzu did but then reboot the phone.
See if that helps with the issue. It work for me at the time I had the issue but it was before the outage or the eOS server.
I am guessing the current issue may have to do with all service not restored but I am guessing.
Edit: Oh I seen now dave has suggested this…

I’m getting an identical problem on a fairphone 5 with os 2.4.1. Open source apps can be downloaded, but nothing else. App updates are not working either.

Worse this morning. No Common Apps now showing on home screen of App Lounge and ‘Account unavailable’ message now appearing there.
Waiting 20 minutes after logging out of anonymous account and force stopping App Lounge / clearing cache & storage made no difference.
@manoj has this issue been picked up? https://status.e.foundation/ shows App Lounge fuly operational at 100%.

I’m also having very similar problems as of today.

Issue confirmed. Force stop + clear cache + restart phone did not help.
Me too, 100 % identical with dave’s setup and issues .

Same problem. Anonymous account not available. Stopped the app and cleared storage, but this doesn’t solve the problem.

Having the same problem on Murena Two, latest OS version.
Same problem with two devices (two different versions of of eOS). Clear cache and reboot did not work on both devices.
At the moment, only the installation of F-Droid and Aurora Store will help.
Same here with Pixel 5 redfin, clearing cache and app data had no effect
Same problem since this morning.
I emptied the cache and the data, I even forced the stop of the application, restart my smartphone and still nothing.
Yesterday, I did not have this concern, I could access it, make the updates.
I followed this info:
https://doc.e.foundation/support-topics/app_lounge_troubleshooting
I had to install Aurora to update my applications.
Same here. AppLounge not working since yesterday.

Almost the same behavior in my case - FP4 2.4.1 Stable - when I open AppLounge, just nothing comes (like it freezes on the starting page). Hopefully I can use Aurora Store as back-up system.
Issue started yesterday. My wife has the same trouble (same device).

Is there any official acknowledgement of this issue? Currently I can’t install any mainstream apps and it’s starting to impact on my work.
Is there any other way to install things (like via apk
s directly)? Never done things that way before.
