Correct place to report issues?

Hi everyone, first post here :waving_hand:

Is this the right place to report bugs about Murena? :thinking:

My trouble is that the volume setting has 4 bars for setting the volume and I’m not sure what each corresponds to…

Depending on that, I might need to report an actual usability/accessibility issue I have, something that makes my life much harder than it should be. :confounded_face:

Bugs are reported in gitlab, here’s how to (note the “Getting an error message in new ID creation…”-section therein).

OK, I did find the gitlab instance, but not having an account there I didn’t know how to create one. Thank you for the links you provided though, they will no doubt be super useful. :grin:

Hello,

On the GitLab Sign In page, you should find a link Register now or something like that depending on your language. You should be able to create a Gitlab account.

However, my opinion is that you should wait at least one or two days an answer in the Community Forum before creating a question in Gitlab.

OK, so it doesn’t work…

“Email is not allowed for sign-up. Please use your regular email address. Check with your administrator.”

I get this both with my personal email and my work email. :confused:

You are right, sometimes it doesn’t work as reported in this forum. Try a search for “sign up email gitlab”. You should find a workaround like in this topic.

I don’t know if this other topic is always relevent but it seems easy to apply if you want to use your existing email.

Yeah,I saw that after, and I now have an account @murena.iomurena.io

I understand the need to reduce the amount of accepted email domains to fight spam, it’s a bit of a shitty solution, but it’s better than not allowing new accounts from prospective contributors. :wink:
