eDrive systematically stops (/e/ Drive s'arrête systématiquement)

Dear /e/ developpers and users,

I have been encoutering the following issue for the past couple of weeks:

I have seen that similar topics were raised one year ago and I wonder whether this issue was supposedly fixed ?

/e/ Drive stopped working

Good afternoon CET I do not use /e/ Drive, never connected or created any account, but it sounds to be lauched by the OS because I have several “/e/ Drive stopped working” (or something quite similar) several times on my device. How can I prevent it to be started (directly fro the phone if possible) ? I could not find it in the applications list. Many thanks by advanced. B.R. Eric

E drive has stopped error

Since a couple of versions of /e/ I get an error in my screen saying that /e/ drive has stopped. I get this error multiple times a day. I don’t use /e/ drive, but still it’s a bit annoying. I get the error in multiple situations like opening the screen or during app use. Does some1 know how to stop this? BTW, my phone is a pocophone.

Could it be related to the fact that pictures are still not being synched with eDrive, at least with Fairphones (for which I raised an issue recently)?

As an alternative/temporary solution, has anybody tried to use the nextcloud app or does it only work if you run your own server?

I have the same issue and I use my /e/ account with the nextcloud app. I don’t think, that this is related to the app used.
But it’s getting on my nerves…
Any other idea, we could try?

I get the same error every once in a while. I’m not doing anything fancy, just using the stock app and ecloud as-is.
