Posting information on test builds
This thread has been created specifically for posting information on official /e/OS builds.
To understand the difference between build types refer this guide
Please do not post information or links to /e/OS test builds on the forum.
The test builds are as yet untested and under development, and may in some cases cause user devices to soft brick.
Such information can confuse other users who do not see these builds in the updater.
Remember not all users who come to this forum are experts in installing and formatting custom ROMs and can end up seriously damaging their devices by trying out these test builds
If you are genuinely interested in helping with the testing activities and also understand how to fix and do some minor level of testing on custom ROMS, you are welcome to join the testing team
As part of the testing team you can share your comments on the dedicated testing telegram channel.

Update was without issues but there are still issues independet of the version:
App “TK” (Techniker Krankenkasse) - login via fingerprint sensor is not possible because google playstore is not installed
App “REWE” - if i want so search for my supermarket (via GPS or zipcode) - the app crashs. This works fine on a S10 with /e/os
On 1.18 - “Smooth display” was disabled but was active - a simple (un)-toggle of the button solved the state issue

Update to /e OS 1.18 T on the Sony XZ2C went fine (a bit slow, but no problem for me). At first look everything seems fine.
I can still adjust volume in calls.

Edit: the Email App v6.711 doesn’t work properly.
New emails are fetched & listed but can not be opened & e.g. answered.
Display always jumps back to the inbox listing
Why that? The reason is missing and I think the less apps have access to internet the better. So it would be goof to explain, why such technical details happen. @Manoj Do you know something about this?

Update over OTA is working well.
The bluetooth connection and controll (play. stop, next, ANC…) between phone and “Sennheiser Momentum 3 in-ear” works now stable.
