My FP4 now has a worn display in the place where I constantly had to click on Resume the download but eventually, it made it on my phone and everything is working smoothly so far - big thx again to the team!
However, I’m still suffering from the following issues:
Not a carrier issue, but since updating to 2.4 registered contacts get engaged tone. Now having to revert to old 1+ 3T! Not a happy bunny!
Tried removing SIM, reinserted, held power for 10 seconds during power up based on similar issue with someone with a fizz account. Put SIM in old phone and no issues with voice calls. Any other suggestions?
I had been using Yet Anorher Call Blocker. Removed it in case it was a flaw. All family contacts who try to ring me get line busy.
This probably wasnt the issue of your display. I had the same problem and my Display is working fine. After a couple of tries it downloaded over a couple of hours (because of the overloaded servers).

Managed to update after some issues with the download, as others have mentioned.
So far so good, no random restarts. The Fairphone camera app is a nice addition, it’d be great if we could disable the opencamera fork (as well as other built-in apps).
As for me, everything is working quite well, except for the screen refresh issue on the Fairphone 5 (already reported here). When you choose 90Hz, as soon as you lock the phone, the display becomes extremely choppy. The workaround is to stay at 60Hz for now.
Furthermore, in the new camera app (edited by Fairphone), in very low light situations, the following message appears: “Keep your device steady during auto night,” and at the moment of taking the picture, the app returns an error: “Unable to connect to the camera.” This only happens in auto night mode.
One last small thing with this new camera app: the screen brightness goes to maximum when the app is in use, which is quite distracting (and not very useful).
I was able to download and install the update today. Unfortunately I keep getting a “Your login/password is incorrect, please login again” error notification.
EDIT: Have 2 factor on, so I had to use an app password to log in. All good now.
Bliss crash with enabled 90hz was not fixed, it’s now worse and at the same level like a year ago. Device forgets “smooth display” setting after every screen lock and gets unstable/choppy until you deactivate 90hz again.
Annoying. Until now you could use 90hz and live with a crash a week, but now 90hz doesn’t work at all.
Look, I made a gitlab issue 10 month ago. Full cycle…
Murena are invested in their own Bliss launcher, it’s an important part of their /e/OS concept, for anybody giving feedback disliking it there’s anybody else giving feedback liking it, so it’s not very likely they’ll abandon it anytime soon just because there are other launchers out there any given user might like more.
Just install a different launcher of your choice .
Then install a more recent launcher of your choice .
There are topics discussing different launchers and their pros and cons in the forum.
