Recently, the Boursorama banking app has been displaying a persistent network error, making it unusable on /e/OS. There’s been some discussion about this issue in the community, along with a temporary workaround (see links below):
I’m curious about the root cause of this error. Is this something the /e/OS team could potentially fix, or is it more likely that Boursorama is intentionally blocking access from de-Googled operating systems? I reached out to Boursorama for clarification, but haven’t received a response yet.
Has anyone here managed to dig deeper into this issue or found a more permanent solution?
To quote the hypothesis from someone on the /e/OS Telegram channel :
Boursobank might have switched from a “Meet basis integrity” check (which works on /e/OS with an unlocked bootloader) to a “Meet device intergrity” check. The result of the latter being negative for /e/OS users. They might have implemented the following error message : DEVELOPER_VERIFICATION_FAILED_REASON_NETWORK_UNAVAILABLE
