Problem esim and physical sim on FP4

Hi

I have a physical sim (payed by employer) and I put a personal esim on my FP4 .
When both sim are “on”, I cannot get internet (except with wifi). Worse, I often lose call from one of the 2 lines.
Did you meet this problem… and how can we solve it?

Same problem with my esim and Fairphone 4 and e/os. Yet another major issue that will take a few months to solve???

Other problem since last update December 17.
I switched off my esim (i do that several times a day because both sims (physical sim et esim) cannot work at the same time… and since the last updade, it is impossible to switch on the esim

Updating v 2.7 solved the last problem… but not the first one. What about you? What can we do?

Cannot confirm this issue, but I installed 2.7 from scratch on the FP4.

I searched and found FP4 not connecting to network thru Esim (#8478) · Issues · e / Backlog · GitLab but otherwise I do not see an issue as you describe.

However, sorry to say, all your forum reports seem strangely missing exact details.

Is this specifically the unresolved issue?

As I understand Mobile data is only from one of the SIM slots. However exactly how this works with an eSIM I am uncertain, but I would assume same or similar.

I think you have said both SIMs are from the same carrier, did you disclose the carrier in another thread, or did you search the carrier in [LIST] Carriers that work or do not work with /e/OS country-wise

I cannot report an issue because I cannot connect on Gitlab. I tried to suscribe with different email addresses (professional and not), but all were rejected.So I posted several times without any answer except people who meet the same problem:

I know that we “mobile data” is only with one SIM. But I cannot access Internet. And I cannot phone as well. As far as I switch on the 2 SIMs, I lost all connexions. So, when I leave my home or my office (where I can connect to Wifi), the only way to phone or to connect internet is to switch off one of the two SIM (and of course, I miss some calls, or I forget to switch on again). Sometime, I can bring with me an 4G key and connect to Wifi with this device.

The 2 carriers are on the white list you fill: Bouygues for physical SIM and Free for my private one (eSIM). I live in France.

I always defend free software and never use Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc. but 8 months is starting to be a long time. :face_with_thermometer:

The problem is not with “mobile data”. The problem is that I lost all connexions (Internet and call) when I’m trying to switch on the 2 SIMs.

Reading different posts, I understood that the problem is when we have 2 different providers with eSIM.

It is different: if you wish to join Gitlab, you should ask on the forum specifically for help from an administrator to have your email ID added.

But where should I do that?
