No issues so far. The download of the patch itself took a very long time.

The update went well. But there remain some bugs unresolved.
The Miracast / ScreenCast to TV does not work since update to /e/OS-u respectively /e/OS-a14.
The Exodus Privacy Information is not shown in AppLounge.
Thanks
Forgot to mention that I did test both, the Aurora store and F-droid. They work fine.
App lounge does not.
With Open Soure selected, it keeps showing general apps only when logged in anonymous.
When logged out it shows open source but they are not installable.(stuck with spinning wheel)/

Update from v2.7-t-official to v2.8-t-official
Not rooted
Update completed in 40 minutes with no issues.
Initial testing of basic functions & apps shows these appearing to be working fine: wi-fi, mobile data, bluetooth, GPS, phone, message, mail, browser, camera, App Lounge (common apps) updates & search, and various other apps.
Of the two issues I noted in v2.7 feedback, the blurred background to the fixed icons on the home screen now looks much better and the icons are centrally positioned rather than floating towards the top of the blurred band, and Maps (Magic Earth) appears to be loading quicker now, although this has varied in the past.
All looking good so far, thanks for the good work.
And did you already try to manually clear the cache of microG (like @aibd suggested in the other thread) and did it help?
You find it in device settings: apps: all apps: upper right corner three dot menu: show system apps: scroll down to find microG-apps and choose them one by one: storage & cache: clear cache
In the thread for 2.6.3 I posted the stuff below. The launcher would show an empty screen if you set ādisplay sizeā too the smallest on a Galax S10, Pixel 6 Pro (and possibly others) and rebooted the device (before the reboot all would work). This issue is no longer present in 2.8, so closed the related gitlab issue.

Both: no problems noted (except for those already known with the cloud services)
I am noticing problems with playing voice messages in different applications (whatsapp, telegram or conversations).
When I play a voice memo, the application gets stuck and on the one hand, it does not let me stop the audio, it does not let me speed it up and the speaker does not work, or it goes into speaker mode, or it gets stuck in headset mode of the phone.
This with a pixel 5 in eOS 2.8. Does it happen to anyone else?
I have the same problem with App Lounge after the 2.8 update. I didnāt want to use a broken app to do any updates so Iāve been using F-Droid Classic to keep my apps updated.
