My guess is never, since Pixel 8 is and if not sold by Murena, then there is no web installer.
Also, the web installer is not really robust, it often fails when used and there are no logs to understand why, then you need to continue manual. Therefore, try manual from the beginning.
We are planning to modify the webinstaller code to work with all devices. Official as well as community. This is still under planning stage. There are a couple of issues already raised about the webinstaller in gitlab and some on the forum which the development team need to fix first before getting on with adding more devices.
