Why untested ? You’d build this ROM just for fun ???
I’m looking for a ROM for my Moto E 2015 XT1524, tell me more and I will test soon (before learning how to build by myself).
Because I dont own this device, no its not for fun it for users who own this device and want run /e/ on it.
Click on device link info, if you device have same specs you can flash it, this bild same as official but no ota support it based on official LineageOS sources but with updated Android security patch.
OK, thank’s. I probably will flash this W.E. (not @home yet).
Will you need logs or something else ?
It will be helpfull if you take some screenshots to prove other users that build is working on this device.
I will do if it works. surnia is “official” for Lineage 14.1, so your /e/ certainly works fine… I can’t flash before tomorrow 16h GMT.
Moto E 2015 XT1524 Surnia, 2016.01.28, stock ROM Android 6.0,
bootloader open via Motorola US site, TRWP 3.3.1-0 with ADB on Debian-Buster,
CM, Lineage, ResurrectionRemix nougat-oreo-pie (oreo is my favorite).
Clean install with ext. SD card (full wipe / install / wipe cache-davilk / reboot)
All works fine ! Looks like Lineage, light and veloce… But location = off (I prefer) and no /e/ account, so I didn’t test Note nor Weather. I do not want Calendar (microG) nor Task but I will find alternatives in Apps ("/e/ store")… And a launcher, to
Test : phone (in/out), messages (in/out), mail (in/out, 2 accounts), photo/video/selfie, and all apps for sound/picture/video, alarm with low-batt-settings AND airplane mode…
Now, it just needs my personnals datas and conf’.
THANKS A LOT !!!
… error while posting, sorry …
Unlocked bootloader, flashed latest twrp and installed rom via sd card and it works like a champ! Now I have a fairly zippy lil Moto E surnia! I use tello.com and signed up for the 6$/mo plan. 100 min talk/unlimted SMS/500 gb LTE data/Unlimited 2G data. Sprint coverage is decent in my town and this phone is going a long way toward my digital detox.
Back on /e/ after I’d test a lot of ROMs (from xda) to compare… Will you build an /e/-pie (with last improvements from /e/) ? I can’t do by myself with my old little DELL…
Yes or not, thanks anyway.
