Thanks for the updated info. I’m not sure to understand this point. You mean the update may be made available this week even if some issues remain, or the release date will be pushed forward until issues are resolved?

 Thanks for pointing out the error. Have corrected it in the initial post.

Hoping you guys meet the target this week with the release.

I think that it is much better to release next week than to release as soon as possible with bugs. Dear devs you are doing great work - nobody will be disappointed with one or two more weeks delay - quality is better than quantity.

I am also in the team “It is ready when it is ready”.

However, I can totally understand the desiere for an update. It is always great to see the new features and often an update means for some a fix for an anying bug.

Revolut for many I suppose.

For me an issue not receiving SMS which LOS claim to have finally fixed on ver 22 (A15)

Well for some FP6 users (like me), this update means more than that. It will allow to actually relock the bootloader and start configuring the phone thanks to a post-June 5, 2025 sevurity patch. Can’t do this on v3.0
4 due to the antirollback protection. Of course I’m already on v3.0.4 to try things out but I won’t configure the phone on v3.0.4 since relocking the bootloader will erase all data and I’ll have to restart all. So looking forward to v3.1.x!

The bug zoom on FP6, the full charge of 50Mpx on FP6, the bug of folders on FP6.

For me it is not beeing able to send a SMS.

I am in the same boat  Staying with my old one until most of it is resolved

Actually, not for that one particular update but as a general question: would it be possible to decouple security patches (and webview updates) from other updates?

I’m excited for this update because it includes the latest MicroG, which finally fixes a several year old issue preventing Microsoft Intune from working. Intune is super helpful for work and I miss it from my old phone. I’m new to /e/OS and it seems my timing is very good here! XD

But yes I’d also rather wait a little longer for a polished release. Not a huge deal.

Looking forward to the new A15 Official. Please don’t rush it, but make it right. We all are better off that way. Question: When one is currently running the Community A15, can one then do an OTA to the Official A15, once available?

Pl can you share the device name.

The device is a Pixel 8.

I have the same question for the Pixel 7a

Switches from Community to official builds are not possible without a clean install. This would mean downloading the official build, formatting your device and doing a clean install. The reason is the builds are made using different keys. Taking a backup of your data before the process is recommended.

Thanks Manoj. I will do so once the Official A15 is available.
