Status: Started :new:

  • Release Notes
  • The release will be staggered as usual.
  • ETA : 2 September (started)
    • :warning: Date got pushed forward from last week as A15 builds failed on multiple devices. We continue running the builds and expect to be able to release them this coming week.

Key Features:

  • :white_check_mark: Revolut fix (for devices with locked bootloader only)

  • :white_check_mark: Second batch of devices on A15 to be released

  • :white_check_mark: Various issues and fixes

For the FP6 users on A15 pick up v3.1.2 release dated September 3 build directly. We will remove the 28 August build :new:

Fingers crossed all goes well! Looking forward to trying this on my Moto G100 (Nio) once A15 comes out.

hooking into my comment on contribution friction, have you already looked at admin confirmation for new accounts instead of bouncing them earlier during registration? I’d require someone as you to have a gitlab admin role.

Imo if the user has an existing forum account it’s a good indicator to allow the registration. As said with your new SSO backend you can also do more magic in gitlab

Same, but same as me, you also have been long enough on this path with /e/OS to know how it works

Also waiting for my FP5 to get the update. Finally want to use Revolt on my main phone again XD. And there is a tiny bity hope that someday the development of Android 15 for the FP5 will start. Currently its only planned since months.

I just realized that the FP6 is not on the list :flushed: Won’t we get the update to FP6 this week or am I misunderstanding something?

Just ordered a Oneplus 9 pro a few days ago. Really hope to go straight to A15.

E got so much better over the last few years. Let’s hope the builds are gonna pass.

A15 for the OP9pro is out since a couple of weeks already.

Thought i saw it as well. But at least it’s not on the download page any more so i guess it got pulled? /e/OS community lemonadep download

I asked myself the same question

There’s this list of supported devices in the post. FP6 is not in it.

The v3.1.1 release has been initiated. The build will be staggered across this week.

The FP6 is not on the 2 lists but have already Android 15.

The following A15 builds failed . We will try to restart the builds and if possible share in this release cycle. Else it would come with v3.2 which should be in a months time.

Great to see that 3.1.1 Official build update is now available for the FP4, but still on A14. (Community build is already available on A15 since some time now)
Just curious, do you know when the “version upgrade” to A15 will be available on the FP4? Will it come in the following days on 3.1.1? Or will it be released as part of 3.2?

Thank you very much!
